Ana Ricciuti is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. She holds a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Psychology and brings both strong clinical training and extensive community-based experience to her work. Ana began her career as a Behaviour Interventionist supporting children on the Autism spectrum, working collaboratively with schools, educators, and community professionals to address emotional, behavioural, and developmental needs. This systems-based background allows her to understand children within the larger contexts of family, school, and community. She also works as a Child Specialist and Divorce Coach within Collaborative Family Law processes, supporting families navigating separation and divorce. Her work in this area focuses on protecting children from conflict exposure, strengthening parent-child relationships, and helping parents make developmentally informed, child-centered decisions. Ana’s clinical approach is grounded in neuroscience and integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a Synergetic Play Therapy framework. She prioritizes nervous system regulation, emotional awareness, and resilience-building while creating a safe and engaging space for children and families. Ana provides in-person counselling services in Kelowna, British Columbia, and offers services in both English and Portuguese to support diverse families.
