Nancy J. Cameron, Charter Member, Lawyer
Nancy Cameron, Q.C. is a lawyer, writer, and educator. She is a family law practitioner, whose practice is in the areas of collaborative practice and mediation. Ms. Cameron is a past president of the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners, and served six years on the IACP board. She has led and designed training in the collaborative process, and has been a speaker and trainer in the area of collaborative practice and in alternative dispute resolution to groups in North America, Australia, Europe and Hong Kong. She spent three years as an adjunct professor at the University of British Columbia Law School teaching a course in Collaborative Practice, and was also an adjunct professor at Hong Kong University. She has written a book on interdisciplinary collaborative practice, titled: Collaborative Practice: Deepening the Dialogue. Ms. Cameron has been involved in a number of initiatives involving both ADR and the Justice System in British Columbia, including membership on the Family Law Reform Working Group of the Justice Review Task Force for British Columbia, a member of the AG
